Tangier has a mediterranean climate (Köppen Csa) with heavier rainfall than most parts of North Africa and nearby areas on the Iberian Peninsula owing to its exposed location. The prevailing winds blow from the sea and have kept the site generally healthy even in earlier times with much poorer sanitation.
The summers are relatively hot and sunny and the winters are wet and mild. Frost is rare, although a new low of −4.2 °C (24.4 °F) was recorded in January 2005.

Very knowledgeable guide who knows everything and everyone. He took us to Perdicaris , Cape Spartel, the Hercules Cave, the Kasbah and Medina. He is very patient, flexible and friendly. His English is perfect. The tour exceeded our expectations. We’d very much recommend him as a top guide
We met Ben on an organised tour after which he took a few of us on a walking tour of Tangier Old Town. We had an excellent time and he showed us some areas we would never have gone if we had been on our own. Very informative and interesting. Tangier is a wonderful place and was made better with Ben’s guidance. We would highly recommend.
My husband and I were so lucky to get a tour with Khalid. We had such a personalized experience. We visited the Hercules Caves and then did a walking tour in the Medina. During our tour he shared his knowledge in history as well as personal experiences. Our tour felt like going on a walk with an old friend. It was truly a pleasure to had him as our guide. 10 out of 10! Highly Recommended!!
